CAI international projects

Personnel of the Czech Institute for Accreditation in the last years regularly participates in international projects, that are focused on the development of accreditation systems in other countries.

The projects, on which the Czech Institute for Accreditation participated:

 

IPA Twinning Project SR 13 IB EC 01

Strenthening Capacities of National Quality Infrastructure and Conformoty Assessment Services in the Republic of Serbia

                     Srbsko                     

Czech Accreditation Institute (CAI) is a member of the consortium which also consist The Czech Metrological Institute and The Czech Office for Standards, Metrology and Testing. CAI is involved in this project in the part (component) no. 3 - QI Capacity & Technical Regulations which as well includes an accreditations. Project duration is 21 month and will be completed in 2017. The individual actions will mostly take place in Serbia but some of them (study tours) will be realized in the Czech Republic.

 

 

Bilateral Agreement
between CAI and MOLDAC

 

              Moldavsko         

On the basis of bilateral agreement between Czech Accreditation Instiute and National Accreditation Centre of Republic of Moldova MOLDAC a training course of MOLDAC staff took place in the Czech Republic between 26th and 28th August 2013. Training content was as follows:

  • Training in the field of medical laboratories according to Standard EN ISO 15189

  • Training in the field of using accreditation for authorization/notification

  • Participation in an assessment of a testing laboratory

Support to Quality Infrastructutre in the Republic of Belarus

                      Bělorusko                  

Czech Accreditation Institute organised training for staff of the Belarussian accreditation body (BSCA) on behalf of consortium led by AFNOR. The five-day training was held in the Czech Republic between 2nd and 9th September 2013.

  • Training focused on requirements of Standard ISO/IEC 17011

  • Participation in an assessment of a testing laboratory

  • Participation in an assessment of a calibration laboratory

  • Participation in an assessment of a certification body for certification of products

Development of New Accreditation Schemes

             BiH         

The Czech Accreditation Institute, the member of consortium led by Hulla&Co.Human Dynamycs KG (Austria), provided training for the employees of accreditation body of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BATA). Individual actions carried out not only in Bosnia, but also in the Czech Republic.

  • Training in accreditation of inspection bodies according to EN ISO/IEC 17020 focusing on lifting equipment and lifts (2 days training course, Sarajevo - Bosnia and Herzegovina) - 2012
  • Training in accreditation of certification bodies operating product certification according to EN 45011, (2 days training course, Sarajevo - Bosnia and Herzegovina) - 2012
  • Training in accreditation of certification bodies operating certification of persons according EN ISO/IEC 17024 focusing on NDT (2 days training course, Sarajevo - Bosnia and Herzegovina) - 2012
  • The three-week study tours BATA staff accreditation body in Prague focusing on certification of products, persons and  quality management systems - 2012

  

 

Support to implementation of Art. 51

Quality Management System of the Partnership and Cooperation Agreement (PCA) of Georgia

The Czech Accreditation Institute, the member of consortium led by Hulla&Co.Human Dynamycs KG (Austria), provided training for the employees of the Georgian Accreditation Body (GAC), top management of laboratories and certification bodies.  Individual actions carried out not only in Georgia, but also in the Czech Republic.

  • Training in accreditation of certification bodies operating product certification in the field of food safety in accordance with EN 45011 (3 days training course, Tbilisi - Georgia) - 2009
  • Training in accreditation of medical laboratories according to ISO 15189 (3 days training course, Tbilisi - Georgia ) - 2009
  • One week study tour for personnel of Georgian Accreditation Body (GAC) in Prague (focused on food safety - QMS, FSMS and medical laboratories) - 2009
  • Monitoring and evaluation process of assessing the Georgian Accreditation Body (GAC) - 2009
  • Training in accreditation of inspection bodies according to EN ISO/IEC 17020 and Certification bodies according to EN 45011, (4 days training course, Tbilisi - Georgia ) - 2010
  • Training in accreditation of testing and calibration laboratories according to EN ISO/IEC 17025 and medical laboratories according to ISO 15189 (4 days training course, Tbilisi - Georgia ) - 2011

Support to standards, certification and accreditation in Albania

                     Albánie         

The Czech Accreditation Institute was a member of consortium led by IBF International Consulting in project "Support to standards, Certification and Accreditation in Albania". CAI designed and realised three-day training courses (4 experts) focused on implementation of international standards in the field of inspection, product certification (ISO G. 62) and calibration laboratories (ISO 17025). The study tour for Albanian experts in was realised in the Czech Republic. The study tour consisted of training at the headquarters of CIA as well as the witnessing during the assessment activities in above mentioned fields. The training was intended for the staff of the Albanian accreditation body Drejtoria e Akreditimit (DA), top management of laboratories and universities in Tirana, and also for representatives of the state administration and other institutions.

CARDS 2006 - Quality Infrastructure

HOT 1 - Specific training for staff of accreditation bodies

     EFTA   

The Czech Accreditation Institute designed and realised training on development of accreditation systems for West Balkan countries (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia). The training was attended by representatives of national accreditation bodies. 

  • Study tour for representatives of national accreditation bodies focused on IT tools supporting accreditation, testing and medical laboratory, certification of management systems and uncertainty (5 days training course, Prague, Czech Republic) - 2006

Development of accreditation systems and support to national testing and calibration laboratories in Croatia

           Chorvatsko          

The Czech Accreditation Institute participated in Project CARDS 2003 as a member of consortium led by AFNOR. The CAI designed and realised a three day training course for staff of Croatian Accreditation Agency (HAA) and staff of accredited medical laboratories. Individual events were held not only in Croatia, but also in the Czech Republic.

  • Training in accreditation of medical laboratories according to ISO 15189 (3 days training course, Zagreb, Croatia) - 2006
  • Study tours for Croatian experts including witness - participation in the assessment of medical laboratory (4 days training course, Prague, CZ)
  • Simulated peer evaluation of HAA as a preparation for EA peer evaluation (5 days, Zagreb, Croatia) - 2006
  • Joint assessments of two medical laboratories (4 days, Zagreb, Croatia)
